Saveetha Medical College Kuthambakkam, Tamil Nadu was established by Dr. N.M. Veeraiyan in 2008 with an aim that is to promote academic excellence, broaden intellectual horizons, and instill self-discipline and high ideals for the overall personality development of everyone. The goal is to transform beginners into skilled professionals with strong theoretical knowledge and outstanding practical abilities, while also encouraging a passion for research, higher education, and social service.
The attached hospital has over 1700 beds, the hospital is equipped with advanced medical technologies, including robotic surgery and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). The institute offers 8 super-specialties and 16 broad specialties at the postgraduate level, supporting the growth of more than 500 doctors, 2,000 faculty and staff, and 1,500 students. Together, they provide compassionate care to over 5,000 patients every day.

Allotment Letter The allotment letter issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for admission is subject to the fulfilment of all eligibility criteria prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the candidate's medical fitness.
