Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences University (PIMS) was established on 29th September 2003 by the Government of India under Section (3) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956. The campus is located in Manmad – Nashik state highway and spreads over an area of 120 acres of land. Pravara Medical Trust is the parent organization of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences University (PIMS) and it was established in 1972. In starting, the hospital started providing medical care with only having 100 bedding capacity, now they have 1275 bedding capacity and becomes one of the best hospitals, treating approximately 1 million cases per year. The university offers many UG, PG and Diploma level programmes.
