Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2024 Begins

On 15th August 2024, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) announced the commencement of Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2024. The online registration process is now open, allowing students to begin their registration for the counselling process.

Documents Required at the time of Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2024-25

• NEET UG 2024 Admit Card
• NEET UG 2024 Score Card
• Class 10+2 Passing Certificate/ Marksheet/ Admit Card
• Residential Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• All Certificates required for admission in Pvt Medical/ Dental College
• 6 Copies of Passport Size Photograph
• Online Filled Application Form
• Aadhaar Card of Candidate

Eligibility Criteria for Self-Financed & NRI/ NRI Sponsor Seats

1) Self Financed Seats : Preference will be given to candidates who are domiciled in Bihar. If there are any remaining seats, they may be filled by eligible candidates from other states. All admissions will be based on merit. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria specified for the General Category (for B.V.Sc. & A.H.) unless stated otherwise during the admission process.  Students admitted under this category will not be eligible for the Government of Bihar Stipend or Internship Allowance. Hostel accommodation may be available, depending on suitability and availability.

2) NRI / NRI Sponsored Seats :  This category is for NRI candidates themselves or children of NRIs whose parents are residents of Bihar. Candidates must meet the same eligibility criteria as the General Category (for B.V.Sc. & A.H.) unless otherwise specified during the admission process. Students admitted under this category will not be eligible for the Government of Bihar Stipend or Internship Allowance. Hostel accommodation may be provided based on suitability and availability.

Bihar NEET UG Counselling Process 2024-25

Candidate must note that the online filling of application form/ registration for admission to MBBS/ BDS/ B.V.Sc. & AH courses shall be done only on the basis of seat allotment of Round 1 & Round 2 of Bihar NEET UG Counselling Process will be done. Additionally, no other opportunity shall be granted in between Round 1 & Round 2 for Online Registration and Submission of Application.
Here are the necessary steps to be followed, namely-

Step 1 – Registration

For Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2024, candidate must fill the application form by mentioning the NEET UG Roll Number 2024 and click on verify button and then enter date of birth with other essential details asked. 

Step 2 – Fill Personal Information

After successful registration, candidate should again “Sign in” and submit the personal information. Post completing the form, click on “Save & Continue” button.

Step 3 – Upload Photo & Signature

The third step requires candidate to upload passport size photograph as uploaded in NEET UG 2024 Online Application Form and full signature in Hindi and English after scanning. Post uploading, click on “Save & Continue” button. 

Step 4 – Submit Educational Information

Candidate is then required to submit his/her educational information and the again click on “Save & Continue” button.

Step 5 – Preview Application

After all the necessary information is filled, candidate must verify all the information mentioned in the form. 

Step 6 – Payment of Counselling fee & Security Deposit

 Post previewing the application correctly, student should select “proceed to payment” button and complete the payment process.

Step 7 – Print the Application Form

After successful payment of Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2024, student must download and print the Application Form for later use.
