In order to take admission in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College in 2024, some of the essential conditions required to be fulfilled for pursuing medicine are as follows-

•  Qualify NEET Exam
•  At least 17 years old on or before the year of admission
•  Candidate must be physically fit    
•  Clear 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology and English as one of the languages of study. 
•  Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to participate.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission under NRI Quota

All Foreign / NRI / NRI Sponsored admissions to UG & PG programs (other than those listed in the note below), will be on a first-cum-first-serve merit basis, subject to the candidate’s performance in the 10+2 (for UG programs) / Bachelor Degree (for PG programs) or equivalent examination in addition to meeting the various eligibility requirements of respective programs as stipulated by the regulatory bodies. Candidates who have confirmed their admission under the Foreign / NRI category, by paying the full first year program fee CANNOT take an admission under the General category.

Candidates seeking admissions to Under Graduate (UG) / Post Graduate (PG) / Super Specialty (SS) should have obtained their qualifications from a recognized Board / University. For PG programs, the candidates MUST have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration from a recognized University as per program requirement. Candidates with Foreign qualifications must submit equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, as per program requirements. 

All Foreign / NRI admissions to UG (MBBS / BDS) courses will be based on the rank obtained in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and online counseling & seat allotment by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) / Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).

Step 1 – Register on MCC Website

Step 2 – Choice Filling

One of the most important and crucial steps in the college admissions process is choice filling. It is noteworthy that choice filling is restricted to the first round of the admissions procedure. During Round 2, candidates can only reshuffle or delete colleges from their list. They cannot add any new colleges.

Step 3 – Declaration of Result

After MCC releases the results, students can log in to see if their cutoff meets the requirements for Round 1. Students can be admitted to MGM Medical College in 2024-25 if they meet the requirements. Applicants may reapply for upcoming rounds of counselling if they are not selected in the first round.

Step 4 – Allotment of Seat
