HIMSR New Delhi Infrastructure
HIMSR Infrastructure is modern, well maintained, designed to support medical education, practical training and postgraduate learning. he college has two gallery-type lecture theatres with seating capacities of 180 and 120 students. The lecture theatres are fully air-conditioned and equipped with modern audio-visual teaching facilities. A separate 720-seat gallery-type lecture theatre is available in the hospital.
The institute also has a 500-seat auditorium and a 500-seat examination hall for academic activities, examinations, seminars and other institutional events. Separate boys' and girls' common rooms are also available on campus.

HIMSR, New Delhi PG (MD/MS) Admission
For securing PG admission in HIMSR, New Delhi the counselling is done through NEET PG All India Counselling by MCC only. All PG seats are pooled in All India Quota for deemed universities. There are in total of 49 MD/MS seats available in HIMSR out of which 21 are categorised under paid/open general category seats and 21 under open/muslim minority by birth seats and remaining 7 seats are allotted for NRI/NRI Sponsored/foreign/pio/oci seats.
HIMSR PG Admission Process 2026-27
Step 1 - Qualify PG Exam
Firstly, it is very important for a medical aspirant to be NEET PG Exam qualified in order to secure MD MS Seat in India.
Step 2 - Register for MCC Counselling
Post qualifying the exam, next important step is to get registered for NEET PG MCC Counselling portal and participate in Deemed University counselling. While filling choices, candidates need to select for HIMSR New Delhi.
Step 3 - Select the Desired Category
Candidates can select the applicable HIMSR category during choice filling. HIMSR's published seat distribution includes Paid/Open General, Paid/Open Muslim Minority by Birth and NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign/PIO/OCI categories.
Step 4 - Find MD/MS Speciality Choices
After selecting HIMSR and the applicable category, candidates can choose their preferred MD/MS specialty according to the available seat matrix.
Step 5 - Seat Allotment by MCC
MCC conducts the counselling and allots seats based on factors such as NEET PG rank, candidate choices, seat availability and applicable category/quota rules.
Step 6 - Report to the College
Student who gets the seat can report to the college within the deadline specified by MCC. Also, it is important to note that HIMSR New Delhi requires physical reporting with the original documents for completion of admission formalities.
Step 7 - Pay the prescribed fees
After allotment, the candidate must complete the fee-payment process according to HIMSR's instructions. The institute's reporting procedure specifies different payment methods depending on the candidate category.
