The MBBS program follows international standards with a 6-year structure:
Years 1-2: Pre-Clinical Phase - Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Histology, Embryology, Chinese Language basics
Years 3-4: Para-Clinical Phase - Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Immunology, Forensic Medicine
Year 5: Clinical Phase - Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Psychiatry with hospital rotations
Year 6: Clinical Internship - 12 months full-time training across all major departments
Assessment includes regular exams, OSCE, clinical evaluations, and final graduation examination.
Licensing Examination Process:-
For Practicing in India
Complete 6-year MBBS, Obtain degree certificate, Verify NMC approval, Qualify FMGE/NExT (15-25% pass rate), Register with NMC and State Medical Council, Start practice or pursue MD/MS
For Other Countries
China: Chinese medical license + language proficiency required
USA: USMLE Steps 1, 2, 3 + Residency
UK: PLAB 1 & 2 + Foundation training
Australia: AMC examination
Middle East: Direct recruitment with verification
