1. Medical Faculty

    • The faculty consists of 38 departments including 23 clinical and 15 theoretical divisions.
    • In these departments, there are 5 fundamental profiles, 4 humanitarian and socio-economic profiles and 31 are professionally oriented.
    • Also, there are 469 teachers in the department including 269 professors, 336 have a medical degree out of which 67 are the candidates of science, 4 honored scientist and technician of Ukraine.

2. Dentistry Faculty

    • The faculty of Dentistry was established at VNMU in the year 1994.
    • The Ministry of Education accredited the licensed admission to the first year with 120 number of students.
    • During the first 4 years of Dentistry, the departments taught are therapeutic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, surgical stomatology, orthopedic stomatology.
    • Postolovskaya T.T. was the first Dean appointed to Dentistry faculty from 1994 onwards.

3. Pharmaceutical Faculty

    • The Pharmaceutical faculty have 300 students in the field of clinical pharmacy from various countries abroad.
    • International students can study either in Russian or English language.
    • After completion of the 5-year course, graduates are awarded as “Pharmacists”.
    • The faculty has 100 trained specialists in the pharmaceutical department with educational, scientific and methodological achievement.

4. Preparatory Faculty

    • The preparatory faculty is one of the oldest faculty of Vinnitsa National Medical University.
    • At the preparatory department, there are assistant professors, senior professors, Ph.D. are provided for counseling and teaching process.
    • The faculty consists of chairs: Chair of Ukrainian language and chair of natural sciences.
    • The academic curriculum contains subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Geography.

5. Faculty of Post Graduation

    • After completion of the graduation course, one who wants to continue as a specialist, post graduation courses are available for those students in the respective fields
    • The duration of the course is about 2-years.
    • During the course of study, practical aspects are taught by highly qualified teaching staff.

What are the admission requirements and my eligibility criteria for MBBS?

Citizen of any country is eligible to study in Ukraine as a fee paying student for undergraduate and post graduate programs. For undergraduate Medical program (MBBS or MD), class 12 or HSSC with min. 50% Marks in with Subjects in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 11 and 12. For College graduates: Undergraduate in science 18 to 60 years old (Depending on subjects- For medicine age limit is 30 years) In good health for exceptions, please contact Admission Department.

What is the total duration of this course?

The total duration of the Medical, MD or MBBS course is 4 year and 10 months for students who have been educated till class 12 with Science. The first 10 months is a Bachelors program and focuses on building foundation for a strong medical education. The next 4 years is the core medicine and clinical rotation. If the student is already a College graduate then the admission program takes 4 years only. Residency training is for 3 to 5 years [Similar to that of USA]..

Documents required for the admissions?

For Admission: Copy of your class 10 and 12 mark sheet is needed initially. Visa, Income proof, passport, police clearance for Philippines and other documents will be needed later. You will get the list of documents at the time of enquiry.

Is the degree recognized by the World Health Organization and the MCI?

It is present in the list of WHO are recognized by WHO and are recognized by CHED (Commission for Higher education and development). The Degree is recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI as equal to MBBS in India. The Degree is Philippines is recognized as equal to MBBS in UK and MBBS in Europe by the GMC of UK.

What is the medium of teaching in Ukraines?

English and  You can communicate with locals in English easily.

How is the Weather?

Philippines has tropical weather.
There are 3 main seasons.
Rains: From June to September. Showers can be frequent and heavy.
Cool: October to February it is cool but temperature rarely drops below 25 degree Celsius.
Summer: From March to May when temperatures can soar.
Overall the climate is perfect for a holiday in paradise and long hours of sun make this a dream destination. In terms of what to pack it is advised that lighter clothing is taken, shorts and beachwear are of course essential although in the rainy season be prepared for rains.

When is Admission usually?

There are two intakes (depending on the university and program) June and November depends on the University and the program for Medical, Premedical. MD or MBBS in Philippines – Medical Admission to the Top Medical College (s) begins in June. Admission to Pre-medical can happen in June or in November each year.

Hostel facility?

On campus accommodation for international students is available on campus.
Hostel rooms have attached bathrooms, with single, double or triple beds.
Both Air-conditioned and non air conditioned rooms are available as per the choice of accommodations.
Students can also choose to stay outside on their own accommodations.

Whether markets are nearby or not?

Market for daily needs is nearby to the campus.
