Takshashila Medical College, Tindivanam, Tamil Nadu

Based in the Tamil Nadu village of Villupuram and operated by Takshashila University, the Takshashila Medical College and Hospital is a new private medical college. Takshashila Medical College has been granted approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University.  

The Takshashila Medical College and Hospital's MBBS duration is five and a half years, with 4 years of academic studies and one year of compulsory internship training. Takshashila Medical College and Hospital’s admission is based on NEET-UG qualification and the state counselling process. Candidates must complete higher secondary education in physics, chemistry, and biology and have the required percentage of marks to be eligible for admission.

Takshashila Medical College is approved to accept 150 students into the MBBS program annually. The Takshashila Medical College and Hospital tuition fees will vary considerably based on whether a student is accepted into the program through the Government Quota or the Management Quota. In addition, tuition will be charged based on respective state government guidelines.
