The 2020-founded Symbiosis Medical College for Women is situated in Pune, Maharashtra. The medical facility was built with the goal of empowering women in the medical field by giving them access to the greatest medical education. The medical school is popularly recognised by its initials, SMCW. 

Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, the founder and chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), had the concept for this college. The medical institution was built with the intention of empowering women and increasing the number of women working in the medical field. 

The Symbiosis Medical College for Women is situated on the scenic campus of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) at Lavale, Pune. It has an intake capacity of 150 MBBS students.  

The medical college is associated with Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, which is recognized by NMC (National Medical Council). The private medical institution offers undergraduate courses (Only MBBS). The span of the MBBS course is 4.6 years and there is a compulsory 1-year internship.
