Prasad Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow was founded in 2016. The college is affiliated with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad and got the approval from the National Medical Council (NMC). Initially, 2 batches got recognition and the remaining 3 batches are still in the process of being recognised.

At present, Prasad Institute of Medical Sciences offers 150 mbbs seats for MBBS programme. The duration of MBBS programme is 5.5 years including one year of training. The college is progressing and making efforts to raise the academic standard in order to provide an outstanding educational experience.

Patients can receive multispecialty care at PIMS Hospital, which has 410 teaching beds. Currently, the college receives a smaller number of patients, but that number is anticipated to rise over the next few years.
