National Dental College, Derabassi, Punjab

National Dental College, Derabassi, is a well-established private dental college in‌ Punjab. Established in 1999, the institute is a‌f‌filiated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and‍ approv⁠ed by‌ the D‌ental Council of India (D‍CI‍).​

The infrastructure of National Dental College has advanced simulation labs, photorealistic phantom head units, digital imaging equipment and various speciality dental clinics, all of which are fitted with the latest equipment. The college offers students nine different fields of dental studies, namely: Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Oral Pathology, Pediatric Dentistry, Public Health Dentistry, and Oral Medicine.  While students are encouraged to conduct their own research and provide dental treatment for less fortunate members within the community through dental camps and other outreach programs in the surrounding rural communities, the college provides various opportunities to help students further develop as professional dentists through continuing education, attending various types of workshops or conferences, etc.

The college has a total of 100 seats for students pursuing BDS, with a five year programme that includes a year-long required internship. Admission to the BDS programme is based on the NEET-UG entrance exam and is managed through state-level counselling.
