Government Medical College Basti, also known as Shaikh-Ul-Hind Maulana Mahmood Hasan Medical College, is a new addition to the medical colleges of the state. The college was established in 2020 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and is affiliated with King George's Medical University, Lucknow.
