Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Sangli, Maharashtra is a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) and it was set up in 2005 with a vision to prepare a globally competitive medical graduate with comprehensive approach in health care. Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Sangli offers MBBS course, initially with an intake of one hundred students annually but now they take 150 students annually. Apart from UG courses, college offers PG courses admitting ninety-eight candidates in eighteen different departments. The attached Hospital has 780 beds, fifty-one adult ICU beds, 10 PICU beds & 12 NICU beds. The Campus has modern and high-tech technology that helps students to understand the concepts easily.
