Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Bangalore, is a well-established private dental college in‌ Karnataka. Established in 1991, the institute is a‌f‌filiated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and‍ approved by‌ the Dental Council of India (DCI‍).​

The infrastructure created by BIDS is conducive to academic and clinical development. Spread over 5-6 acres on Hosur Main Road, Lakkasandra, Bangalore, the campus features well-equipped classrooms with audiovisual aids, departmental laboratories furnished with up-to-the-mark dental instruments and a 250-bed dental hospital that receives huge daily patient flow, giving hands-on clinical experience to students. The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is a five-year programme at BIDS, divided into four years of academics and one year of compulsory rotatory internship. BDS admission is via NEET-UG and the college has approximately 60 seats per year under different quota categories including government, management, NRI.
