UTTARAKHAND NEET MBBS COUNSELLING
The UTTARAKHAND NEET MBBS COUNSELLING for Medical & Dental program is being conducted by “Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University” (HNBUMU). Counseling will be conducted for the 85% Government & 100% Private Medical & Dental seats.
There are 3 rounds of UTTARAKHAND NEET MBBS COUNSELLING process which includes “Round 1” getting conducted online, , “Round 2” and the third round is “Mop up” round is conducted offline. If seats are vacant after mop up then college round will be conducted, also known as “Stray round”There are 3 Government, 2 Private and 1 AIIMS (to be filled through MCC) in Uttarakhand.425 seats are there in Government of which 15% seats (64 seats) will be filled as AIQ through MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) remaining 361 seats are part of State UTTARAKHAND NEET MBBS COUNSELLING process.
To participate in the UTTARAKHAND NEET MBBS COUNSELLING process, students have to qualify NEET exam and then register themselves by login to its official website www.hnbumu.ac.in by paying Rs 3000 for all the category or as declared by the authority as and when counseling is about to commence.

SALIENT FEATURES OF UTTARAKHAND COUNSELING
- Free exit is allowed in Round 1.
- There is no free exit in Round 2 if not reported.
- Security deposit is not refundable if not taken admission after allotment of seat in Round 2.
- To verify Documents you need to upload documents online.
- Security deposit will be refunded to eligible candidates (Not allotted any seat or allotted seat and taken admission) after the completion of all the rounds of counseling process.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students must qualify NEET.
- Must be Indian Citizen to claim seat under Govt./Private/Management.
- Foreign National can also apply for seats under NRI/Other Quota.
- Non-Domicile can apply for B category seat in Private Medical Colleges.
- Security guards and security services are provided for students’ accommodation services.
- Students must have passed 12th or equivalent exams.
- Domicile candidates are eligible for all seats.
Eligibility Criteria for Domicile Claim
1 . Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand and have passed both High school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution situated in the State of Uttarakhand.
Or
2 . Candidates who are not Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed both High school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institutions situated in the State of Uttarakhand shall also be eligible but they will not be entitled for any type of reservation.
Or
3 . Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed High school (10th) and/or Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institutions situated outside the State of Uttarakhand shall also be eligible.

**Out of 361 State Quota Government seat, 3 seats are reserved for Kashmiri Migrant and 3 seats fill be filled through Central pooled quota.

Steps Involved in the Counseling Process
- Register online on www.hnbumu.ac.in by paying 3000 (for all the category) application fee online.
- Login using your ID and password, take print out of your online application.
- Merit list will be published.
- Fill your choices online.
- Merit list will be published.
- Pay centralized advance tuition fee.
- Report and verify your original documents.
- Round 1 registered student need not reregister in remaining rounds of counseling.
- Registration will open before every round of counseling.
Choice after Allotment of Seat
- Option 1 – If you are satisfied with your allotment, you can report and verify your document at your allotted college.
- Option 2 – You are satisfied but willing to go for up gradation in the next round by retaining your seat. You can report to your allotted college and select up gradation option in round 2
- Option 3 - If you are not satisfied with your allotted college and willing to participate in the next round, then you can skip reporting in round 1.
