The last rank at which a seat has been allotted in a counseling process is termed as Cut off rank.There are 9 Government and 5 private medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh offer 1140Government seat and 600Private seat.Out of 1140 Government seat, 171 seat goes to AIQ to be filled through MCC.

- GMU advises medical aspirant that cut off should not be taken as a target score. This is the last rank and can’t be a safe score. Students must target a higher rank than that of cut off.
- Cut off was lower in Round 2 of counseling process
- Allotment in Government Medical College done at a much lower rank in state quota seat compared to AIQ seat.
