About Yenepoya Medical College, Karnataka
Yenepoya Medical College was established in 1999 and initially affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, for awarding medical degrees. The first batch of 100 MBBS students was admitted in the same year. Today they have 250 seats in Yenepoya Medical College for MBBS. In 2005, the college received approval from the Medical Council of India to begin postgraduate programs in seven departments.
