The wait is finally over for MBBS aspirants as the NEET UG 2026 results have been declared. In an impressive milestone, female candidates have surpassed male candidates in overall performance. Of the nearly 20 lakh students who appeared for the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination held on 21st June, around 11.21 lakh candidates qualified.
NEET UG 2026 Qualifying Marks

Based on the officially released NEET UG 2026 (Re-NEET) qualifying cutoff, here are the category-wise qualifying marks:

They are not the admission cutoff for MBBS Programme. How to Check your NEET UG Score 2026?
To check your NEET UG Score 2026, visit the NTA official website and log in to the portal. Below are the steps to be followed by every student:-
Step 1 - Visit the official National Testing Agency (NTA) portal
Step 2 - On the home page, click on latest news, search for NEET UG 2026 Scorecard.
Step 3 - A window will open on the screen, fill your login credentials
Step 4 - Enter the application number, password and security captcha to proceed
Step 5 - Re-NEET UG 2026 ScoreCard will appear on your screen

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the MBBS Seat Matrix for the 2026–27 academic session. India now has a record 1,36,939 MBBS seats across 823 medical colleges, following the addition of 9,911 new MBBS seats this year. The figures below exclude AIIMS, JIPMER and other Institutes of National Importance (INIs) and remain subject to revision by NMC.
