Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC Belgaum), popularly known as the “Centre of Excellence” in medical education and research, is a well-established college of Karnataka. The college is affiliated with KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER), a deemed-to-be university, and offers MD and MS programmes across various clinical and non-clinical specialties.

JNMC Belgaum PG Admission Process 2026-27
Step 1 - Qualify NEET PG Exam
Candidates must appear for and qualify NEET PG 2026 and satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed for postgraduate medical admission.
Step 2 - Register for MCC Counselling
Since JNMC is a deemed university, candidates seeking its deemed-university PG seats need to participate in the applicable MCC NEET PG counselling process.
Step 3 - Pay Counselling Fee
Candidates need to complete MCC registration and pay the applicable counselling/security-deposit amounts.
Step 4 - Choice Filling
After registration, candidates can enter JNMC Belagavi and their preferred MD/MS specialties in their choice list.
Step 5 - Seat Allotment
MCC conducts the allotment based on factors including NEET PG Rank, candidate category, choices filled, seat availability, applicable counselling process.
Step 6 - Download Allotment Letter
Candidates allotted JNMC need to download the MCC allotment letter and follow the reporting instructions.
Step 7 - Report to JNMC Belgaum
Students shall report to the JNMC Belgaum within the prescribed timeline and complete the document verification process, make the payment of fees, finish all the formalities and report to the college.
