For the MBBS, BDS, and BHMS seats in the state's medical, dental, and ayurvedic colleges, the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has opened the registration window for the NEET UG counselling process. Interested medical students must submit their applications through the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
On the basis of the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) score 2023, The Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling process will be conducted. The process shall begin on 25th July 2023 and will last till 29th July 2023.

According to the schedule, candidates will have until 3 PM on 30th July, 2023 to make changes to their applications, and the merit list will be made public on July 31. The schedule for round 1 of counselling will soon be announced on the official website.
Candidates who belong to general category, economically weaker section (EWS) and other backward class (OBC) will have to pay application fee of Rs. 500. While candidates who belong to SC/ST and are female candidates will be required to pay Rs. 250 application fees.
Note – No application is accepted from “Divyang” candidates. On the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in, aspirants must also upload their NEET (UG) 2023 score card in addition to the other essential documents.
The applicant must be a Jharkhand local and present a "local resident certificate" issued by a qualified authority at the designated institute during the counselling procedure.
According to the eligibility requirements, applicants in the general category must have received at least 50% in physics, chemistry, biology, or biotechnology in the qualifying test as specified in the National Medical Commission (NMC) and Dental Council of India regulations. The qualifying examination must have achieved an average score of at least 40% for candidates who fall under the category of SC, ST, or OBC.

Step 2 – Select “JCECEB Online Counselling” tab
Step 3 – Get registered by filling the personal details and upload documents
Step 4 – Pay the required fees and proceed with the choice filling process
Step 5 – Submit the details and download the application form for future use.
