About Haryana NEET PG Counselling 2024-25

Haryana NEET PG Counselling 2024, conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, is expected to begin in September 2024. The NEET PG Exam took place on 11th August 2024.

In this counselling, 50% of seats are reserved for the All India Merit category, while the remaining 50% fall under the Haryana State Merit category. Within the State Quota, 40% are earmarked for in-service candidates with valid NOC, and 25% are reserved for those who completed their MBBS/BDS in Haryana. Additionally, 5% of seats are reserved for candidates with benchmark disabilities, in accordance with relevant laws and guidelines.

Private institutions will allocate 50% of their seats under the State Quota and the other 50% under the Management category.

Eligibility Criteria for Haryana NEET PG Counselling 2024-25

In order to participate in Haryana NEET PG Counselling 2024-25, student must fulfill the necessary essential eligibility conditions to fulfill, namely :-

  • Student must a citizen of India to be able to participate in Haryana NEET PG Counselling 2024
  • Student must have passed MBBS/BDS exam from recognized university/institution in Haryana as a bona-fide resident of Haryana or has passed MBBS/BDS examination from any other Medical/Dental College/Institution recognized by the Medical/Dental Council of India and who/ whose parent(s) produce(s) a Haryana Resident Certificate as per Government instructions given in Annexure II, III and IV or any modification issued by competent authority from time to time.
  • Student applying for management category, candidates from all over India shall be considered eligible to participate in Haryana NEET PG Counselling 2024-25.
  • Student should have completed satisfactory one-year compulsory rotatory internship from Institution recognized by the Medical/Dental Council of India for this purpose as per dates notified by Government of India/NMC/DCI. However, the candidates who had passed their BDS course prior to 1991 and hold a BDS degree from a Dental College recognised by Dental Council of India and have obtained permanent registration with the State Dental Council shall be exempted from the applicability of this pre-condition. Internship of 12 months period shall not be condoned in any case or circumstances except for the students of BDS batch admitted during the academic session 2007- 08 (as allowed by Dental Council of India) and have completed 4 and a half year BDS course along with 06 months of compulsory Rotatory Internship.
  • The candidate should be registered with any of a State Medical Council/State Dental Council/NMC/DCI.
  • All candidates (General/ SC/ SC Deprived/ BC-A/ BC-B/ Benchmark disabilities/ EWS/ ESM/ FF) desirous of seeking admissions in any category of seats should fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria/qualifications/qualifying criteria as prescribed in the information bulletin for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) issued by NBE for the Academic year 2023-24 and as per regulations of NMC/DCI issued from time to time.

Admission to NRI Category

Admission to the NRI Category (NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, Foreign Nationals) in private medical colleges affiliated with Pt. BD Sharma UHS, Rohtak, including those under Private Universities such as SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram, PDM University, Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, and Al-Falah University, Faridabad, reserves 15% of seats out of the management quota for NRI category students. The following outlines the procedure for admission to these NRI quota seats:-

  • Admission Criteria - All admissions under the NRI category seats will be based on the merit of NEET PG 2023 and NEET MDS 2023. Only those who have qualified in these exams are eligible to apply under the NRI category.
  • Eligibility - Candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2023 or NEET MDS 2023 are eligible for NRI category seats. This eligibility extends to Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and Foreign Nationals who have also cleared these exams.

Haryana NEET PG Counselling Process 2024-25

Student who qualifies NEET PG Exam 2024 are eligible to participate in Haryana NEET PG Counselling Process 2024. The NEET PG Counselling is conducted for admission to 50% All India Quota seats and 100% deemed/ central universities, ESIC and AFMC seats.

Haryana NEET PG Counselling Process has four rounds and is conducted by the MCC. Here are the necessary steps to be followed, namely:-

Step 1 – Registration

The primary step in Haryana NEET PG Counselling Process 2024 is Registration on the official website.  Eligible candidates must register online through the official Haryana NEET PG counselling portal. During registration, candidates provide personal details, academic qualifications, and upload necessary documents.

Step 2 – Release of Merit List

After registration, a merit list is prepared based on the NEET PG scores. The seat matrix, detailing the available seats in various colleges and specializations, is also published.

Step 3 – Choice Filling

Candidates need to log in to the counselling portal and fill in their preferred choices of courses and colleges. Choices of MD/MS Colleges should be arranged in the order of preference, and once satisfied, candidates must lock their choices before the deadline.

Step 4 – Seat Allotment Result

Based on the merit list, choice preferences, and seat availability, the seat allotment results are announced. Candidates who are allotted a seat must download their allotment letter from the counselling portal.

Step 5 – Document Verification

Candidates must report to the designated verification center with their original documents, allotment letter, and fee payment receipt. The documents will be verified to confirm eligibility and authenticity.

Step 6 – Reporting

After successful document verification, candidates must report to the allotted college within the stipulated time frame to complete the admission process.

Haryana NEET PG Counselling 2024 Documents Required at the time of Reporting

Candidates must bring the following original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of reporting:

  • Matriculation/High School Certificate as proof of date of birth.
  • MBBS/BDS degree from an NMC/DCI recognized institution.
  • Three recent passport-sized photographs used in the NEET application.
  • Internship completion certificate (internship must be completed by 31.03.2022 or as per MoHFW/ NMC/ DCI).
  • Foreign Medical Graduate Exam result (if applicable).
  • Character certificate from the last attended institution or First Class Executive Magistrate.
  • Resident certificate issued by Haryana's State Government (if applicable).
  • State Medical/Dental Council registration certificate.
  • Haryana State Government-issued caste certificate (if applicable).
  • Dependent of Fighter certificate (if applicable).
  • Ex-Servicemen (ESM) certificate (if applicable).
  • Income certificate for BCA/BCB candidates.
  • Income and Asset Certificate for EWS candidates.
  • Disability certificate from designated NBE centers or PGIMS, Rohtak (if applicable).
  • NEET PG 2022/NEET MDS 2022 result card.
  • For HCMS/HCDS category candidates: valid NOC and service length certificate for remote/difficult areas.
  • Proof of identification (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID, Ration Card, Parivar Pehchan Patra).
  • Printout of the Haryana NEET Application Form.
