UGMAC Counselling Process 2026-27
UGMAC Counselling 2026 is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for admission to MBBS, BDS and other medical courses. The steps to be followed for MBBS Admission in the Best Private Medical Colleges of Bihar are as follows:-
Step 1 - Online Registration
The primary step involves registration on the official BCECEB UGMAC portal. Student can enter their roll number, date of birth and other required details. Then, otp will be asked to enter after which student can create their login credentials and complete the registration process.
Step 2 - Fill the Application Form
Once registration is done, student must fill the application form by entering personal information, academic qualification, NEET UG details, category and reservation details etc.
Step 3 - Upload Required Documents
A Student is required to upload scanned copies of the below given documents, such as:-

When registration gets completed, BCECEB prepares and publish the UGMAC merit list on the basis of a student’s NEET UG Rank, category, reservation, college preference and seat availability.
Step 6 - Online Choice Filling & Locking
Now comes the most important step i.e. online choice filling and locking. Student should do the choice filling very carefully and locking of their choices before the deadline. If choices are not locked manually, the system may automatically lock the last saved choices after the counselling deadline.
Step 7 - Seat Allotment
BCECEB releases the seat allotment result. Candidates who receive a seat can either accept the allotted college or participate in the next round for an upgrade, subject to the counselling rules.
Step 8 - Download Allotment Letter
Students who have been allotted a seat and login to their portal and can download the Provisional Allotment Letter.
Step 9 - Document Verification & Reporting
Candidates must report to the allotted medical college within the specified deadline along with all the necessary documents. Admission is confirmed only after successful verification and payment of the admission fee. Failure to report within the stipulated time may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
Step 10 - Participate in Further Rounds
Students who do not get any seat in Round 1 or wish to upgrade their allotted college or are allotted a seat but want a better option can participate in further rounds of counselling.
