Tairunnessa Memorial Medical College (TMMC) is a private medical school that is located in Konia, Gazipur Sadar Upazila, Gazipur District, just northeast of Dhaka. TMMC was founded in 2002 by M. Shamsul Hoque as part of Tairunnessa Memorial Medical Centre. TMMC is affiliated with University of Dhaka and is approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council, as well as through numerous international medical associations. Thus, it has provided pathways for graduates to obtain licensure and other forms of advanced training in other countries.

TMMC offers a five-year MBBS program, (in English). After graduation from TMMC, all graduates must complete a one-year internship before becoming licensed physicians. The TMMC course plan emphasises the proficiencies of medical science and clinical training in a coordinated manner. Basic sciences are integrated with clinical experience over the five years. Students will develop not only professionalism but also the knowledge necessary for effective medical practice in addition to what they learn from clinical skills.

Located in Gazipur, Tairunnessa Memorial Medical College is about 30 kilometers north of Dhaka. There are two ways for international students to get to Dhaka. The first way is through Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, which serves as the main airport in Bangladesh and connects to major airports in India (New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai). From airport to Tairunnessa Memorial Medical College approximately 9 to 10 kilometers by taxi (or ride share service) or between 20-30 minutes by cab depending upon the amount of traffic. The second way is by road from India; students must enter Bangladesh at one of the designated border crossings and ride a bus/train into Dhaka and then from Dhaka to Gazipur by car for approx another 15 minutes ride.

After arriving at Dhaka Airport, Tairunnessa Memorial Medical College (located in Gazipur, near the Konia area) is approximately 20–30 km away.
Students can reach the college from the airport by taxi, ride-sharing services, or private transport, and the journey usually takes around 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

A valid Indian passport and a medical report declaring the candidate fit is required to be submitted at the time of admission.

To apply for admission, you should first fill out a student application form and attach copies of your academic records, NEET score card, passport, and photographs.
The college will then send you a request for verification of the Class 10 and Class 12 documents, NEET score card, and other documents submitted on the application form.
After the verification process is complete, the College will send you an offer letter showing that provisional admission was granted into the College and that an MBBS seat has been reserved for you. You will need to pay the initial tuition fee according to the college's instructions in order to reserve your seat in the MBBS program.
You can then apply for a student/medical visa for Bangladesh using the offer letter as proof of acceptance into the college.
After arriving in Bangladesh, you will report to the college's campus and submit your original documents for registration with the college.
