Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) was founded in 1932; it has built an excellent reputation over time for excellence in research and teaching future physicians, pharmacists, and specialists. BSMU has more than 15,000 students enrolled, including about 5,000 international students representing approximately 64 countries. Graduates from this university may practise medicine in more than 120 countries.

In addition to its support of education through outreach to international partners, BSMU continues to be an active participant in promoting collaborative partnerships among partner colleges/universities worldwide, creating numerous opportunities for student exchange and developing and enhancing their global preparedness for medical furtherance and/or practice.

The MBBS program offered at BSMU is a six-year programme, which includes five years of academic study followed by a one-year internship. The facilities of the University include a wide array of clinical and hospital services; this provides students with valuable experience in a real-world clinical environment via collaboration with a significant number of Clinical Hospitals throughout the Moscow area.
Clinical facilities consist of over 50 different hospitals and other Health and Medical Facilities. These hospitals are equipped with modern medical equipment and diagnostic facilities.
At each Clinical Facility, students will participate in rotations, which will allow them to get hands on experience, as well as witness diagnostics and treatments being performed, all under the guidance of experienced Clinical professionals. This creates a unique advantage for training and experience in Clinical settings.
The University has established additional Clinical practice locations including health Center Dispensaries and Maternity Hospitals thereby expanding the number of locations where hands on Clinical training can occur for students.

Prepare and Submit Applications
Read the instructions carefully on the application and gather all documents required for application. All documents must be translated into Russian and certified prior to submission via email.
Receive Invitation to Apply
Upon reviewing all submitted documentation, the university will issue an official Invitation Letter. The Invitation Letter will be required to apply for a Student Visa.
Apply for Russian Student Visa
After receiving the Invitation Letter all required visa documents for the Russian Student Visa are to be submitted to the Russian Embassy or Consulate in your home country. Students cannot apply for a Tourist Visa to study in Russia.
Travel and Register in Russia
Students should arrive in Russia prior to the Intake Date. Students must register with the University within three days of entering Russia by completing the required migration registration with their respective university.
Medical Check-up and Vaccination in accordance with the instructions provided by the university.
Entrance Examination
Students will need to sit for a competitive entrance exam, usually consisting of Biology and Chemistry. Students must pass this exam to confirm acceptance into an MBBS programme.
Sign Contract and Pay Fees
